Emergency Department Registered Nurse
The Opportunity
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 16-week contract. You'll work in a high-acuity setting providing care across a broad spectrum of patient presentations, with a special emphasis on geriatric emergency medicine.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 12-hour rotating shifts (3p–3a / 7p–7a)
- Hours: 36 per week (112 guaranteed hours over the contract)
- Weekend Requirement: One weekend shift per contracted week, or two weekend shifts every other weekend
- Holidays: At least one holiday per contract
- Blocked Scheduling: Available as rotating or fixed (Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon)
- On-Call: Not required but highly recommended; typically 2 hours per contracted week, available in 4, 8, 12, or 16-hour blocks (7p–7a)
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NIH certification
- Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience
- 2 years U.S. work history (non-U.S. candidates)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
