Medical-Surgical RN | Chattanooga, TN | 13-Week Contract

This Med-Surg position is based on a fast-paced inpatient unit supported by Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, PCTs, and Case Management staff. The unit manages a diverse adult patient population with a range of acute medical conditions.

Clinical Scope

Candidates should have solid Medical-Surgical experience, including:

• Respiratory diseases and illnesses
• Renal and GI conditions
• Telemetry monitoring
• Central venous catheter (CVC) management
• Indwelling catheter care
• Heparin drip management

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (48-hour guarantee accepted)
• 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating into unit rotation with other staff

• Start Date: August 3, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Strong teamwork, communication, compassion, and collaboration skills
• Navy blue scrubs required

This role is well-suited for an experienced Med-Surg nurse comfortable with a high-paced environment and a varied patient census across respiratory, renal, GI, and cardiovascular conditions.
