Emergency Department RN — Overland Park, KS

4 x 12 Nights | 13-Week Contract | Start Date: July 27, 2026

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN with a strong background in emergency and trauma nursing. This is a high-acuity unit managing a diverse patient population requiring trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and care.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights, 19:00–07:00 (mid-shift flexibility: as early as 10:00–22:30, as late as 13:00–01:30)
• Every third weekend required
• 48 guaranteed hours available

Clinical Scope

• Full range of emergency and trauma procedures
• Patient populations include trauma, cardiac emergencies, neurological events, and sepsis
• Unit secretary support available 21 hours/day

Float Policy

Floating is rare and occurs only when core staff have been flexed home.

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN license
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency/Trauma RN experience
• CEN or TCRN certification preferred; CPI preferred

Dress Code

Cobalt blue top with black or cobalt blue pants (solid colors); closed-toe shoes required.
