Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Tomball, TX

This is a 13-week travel contract in an active Emergency Department, with a night shift schedule of 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week, with a start date of September 28, 2026.

Unit Overview

The ED manages a general acute and emergent patient population across a range of acuity levels. Nurses are expected to perform , assessment and reassessment, IV placement, lab draws, and EKGs. Float coverage to nearby ED locations is required.

Schedule & Expectations

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Float requirement to affiliated ED sites in the area

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Active RN license
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI/NCI required
• PAL certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC certification (preferred; considered first)

Additional Details

• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
• Lab draw training provided at each facility location
