Surgical Tech

Surgical Technologist — Operating Room | Cambridge, MA

This is a long-term OR opportunity for an experienced Surgical Technologist seeking a diverse, high-volume surgical environment. The position involves rotating 10-hour shifts across day and evening schedules (7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 9:00 AM–7:30 PM, or 11:00 AM–9:30 PM), four days per week. No block scheduling is in place.

Clinical Scope

You'll scrub across a broad range of surgical specialties, including:

• General Surgery
• Gynecology
• Plastics
• Urology
• Orthopedics (total joints and sports medicine)
• Podiatry
• Vascular
• Endoscopy

Experience with robotic-assisted surgery — including Da Vinci and Mako platforms — is a plus.

Schedule & Expectations

• Weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities required
• Must work every other major holiday
• Scrub color: Any
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Contract Details

• Location: Cambridge, MA
• Contract duration: 88 weeks
• Estimated start: October 2026

Requirements

• Active NBSTSA, NCCT, or AST certification required at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of surgical technology experience; prior travel experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
• Two recent Manager/Supervisor references in matching specialty
• Specialty-specific skills checklist
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
