MRI Technician – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility's MRI department is seeking an experienced MRI Technician for a 13-week contract. You'll work the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift, scanning an average of 15 patients per shift across two MRI units.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a high-acuity setting
- Demonstrated proficiency scanning ICU, emergency, pediatric, geriatric, and bariatric patients
- Experience with anesthesia and pediatric sedation cases
Clinical Scope
You'll manage imaging for diverse patient populations and acuity levels, including post-operative and critically ill patients. This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong technical skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal downtime.
Credentials & Requirements
- Valid MRI Technician license/certification
- Current immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB screening)
- Fit test and health statement
- Driver's license/state ID
- Criminal background check and employment verification
- Professional references
Contract Terms
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Start date: October 19, 2026
