Progressive Care Unit – RN
Position Overview
Join the progressive care unit at the facility for a 13-week contract assignment. This role offers night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 4 x 12 schedule) with every-other-weekend requirements.
About the Unit
The progressive care unit manages intermediate-acuity patients, including post-operative recovery, telemetry monitoring, and step-down care from critical settings. You'll provide skilled nursing assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient/family education in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verify via Nursys)
- License/Certificate Verification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Immunizations and health screening per facility requirements (TB testing, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and others as part of onboarding)
- Willingness to complete facility-specific orientation and competency assessments
