Shift: 4 x 12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week

Unit Overview

This cardiothoracic ICU cares for a high-acuity population of cardiac and thoracic surgery patients in a dedicated critical care setting. Nurses in this unit manage complex post-operative cases requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and close collaboration with surgical and critical care teams.

Requirements

• Active RN license (must be verifiable through Nursys)
• Current CVICU or cardiothoracic ICU experience
• Strong EKG interpretation skills
• Completion of onboarding competency assessments, including specialty exam, core competencies, and EKG exam
• Skills checklist required at submission
• Two professional references required at submission

Health & Compliance

Standard immunizations and health screenings required prior to start, including MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA), fit test, and drug screen. Background check and education/employment verification completed during onboarding.
