Cardiac & Thoracic ICU Nurse

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced ICU nurse for its cardiothoracic unit. You'll provide direct care to post-cardiac and post-thoracic surgery patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Shift & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
• Schedule: 4 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
• Start Date: November 22, 2026

Clinical Scope

Work in a cardiothoracic ICU managing high-acuity cardiac and thoracic surgery patients. You'll apply advanced assessment skills, interpret cardiac rhythms, monitor hemodynamic parameters, and support complex post-operative recovery.

Required Credentials & Licenses

• Current RN license (verification required)
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Professional references
• Clean criminal background check

Onboarding Requirements

Standard facility onboarding includes skills validation, specialty competency exams, EKG proficiency testing, and health screenings (immunizations, drug screen, TB clearance, fit testing).
