Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Wichita, KS
This is a 13-week travel nursing contract on a medical-surgical unit, working night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a 4x12 schedule with 48 guaranteed hours per week. The position is set to begin October 18, 2026.
Unit Overview
The 6SE unit is a medical-surgical floor managing a general acute care patient population. Nurses on this unit are expected to demonstrate competency in EKG interpretation and point-of-care glucose testing. Every other weekend is required; no call obligations.

Dress Code
- Ceil blue scrubs
Required Credentials (for submission)
- Active RN license (verified via Nursys)

Onboarding Requirements
- Core competency and EKG assessments
- Point-of-care glucose testing validation
- Color vision screening
- TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, and Influenza immunization records
- Fit test
- Background check and drug screen
- Driver's license or state ID
