Night Shift Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment on a general medical-surgical and observation unit. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) working 4 x 12-hour shifts per week with 48 guaranteed hours.
Unit Details
You'll join a busy med-surg unit caring for patients across a range of acuities and diagnoses. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, requiring strong clinical judgment and adaptability across varied patient populations.
Requirements
- Active RN license (verification required)
- Current immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Gold)
- Fit testing for respiratory protection
- Drug screening (12-panel)
- EKG competency exam
- Basic life support certification (ACLS preferred; facility-specific training provided)
- Ability to complete facility-specific onboarding modules and competency assessments
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

You'll complete core competency validation and work alongside experienced nursing staff.
