Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced NICU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in a level 3 neonatal intensive care unit. This is a full-time position working nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), scheduled as 4 x 12-hour shifts per week with 48 guaranteed hours.
Unit Details
You'll provide critical care to high-acuity neonatal patients in a specialized intensive care environment. The unit offers complex patient management, advanced monitoring and support technologies, and a collaborative interprofessional team.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required at submission).
- NICU nursing experience and competency.
- Willingness to complete required onboarding assessments, including competency validation, EKG exam, and skills verification.
- Current immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Varicella, and annual influenza vaccine.
- TB screening via PPD, IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), or positive PPD with negative chest X-ray.
- Respiratory fit test.
- Background check and employment verification.
- Two professional references.
