Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse for a 13-week contract role in the NICU. This is a permanent position vacancy.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
- Schedule: 4 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Start Date: October 18, 2026
Unit Details
You'll deliver critical care to high-acuity neonatal patients in a Level 3 NICU setting. This role involves direct patient care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and use of advanced technologies in neonatal medicine.
Required Credentials & Licenses
- Current RN license (verified via Nursys)
- NICU experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to complete all facility-required onboarding assessments and certifications
Vaccination & Health Requirements
- MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Varicella, and annual influenza vaccination
- Two-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing
- Fit test for respiratory protection
- 12-panel drug screen
- Background check and employment verification
