RN – Emergency Department

About the Role
You'll provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department, managing acute and critical patients across a range of presentations and acuities. You'll implement and monitor individualized care plans, coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and communicate patient status effectively. Your clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to work independently under pressure will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care following established protocols and standards
- Implement, monitor, and adjust patient care plans in real time
- Assess patient conditions, record findings, and communicate changes to the care team
- Coordinate discharge planning and patient transitions
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately
- Work with minimal supervision in a high-stress, dynamic environment
Requirements
- Current RN license (verify via Nursys)
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call as needed
- Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment
- Comfort with autonomy and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
- All standard health screening and immunizations required at onboarding
Contract Details
- 48 guaranteed hours per week
- 90-day assignment
- Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
