Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 16-week contract assignment in Wichita, KS.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend
• No call required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Clinical Role

You'll work in a fast-paced emergency setting, providing direct patient care across the full spectrum of acute conditions and acuities. You may be asked to float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita.

Requirements

• Active RN license (verification via Nursys required)
• Strong knowledge of emergency nursing protocols
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environment
• Ceil blue scrubs

Credentialing & Onboarding

Standard facility requirements include specialty exam, EKG certification, core competencies, drug screening, immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap), TB screening, and background check. You'll complete these during onboarding.
