Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 16-week contract in Wichita, Kansas.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Days: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs
Unit Details
You'll work in a fast-paced emergency department managing diverse patient acuities and presentations. You may float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required at submission)
- Nursys license check
- Strong assessment and clinical skills
- EKG interpretation ability
- Comfortable with EHR systems
Onboarding
Standard credentialing applies, including background check, drug screening, immunization verification, and facility-specific competency assessments.
Contract Terms
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Holiday Commitment: 2 out of 3 holidays
- Start Date: October 11, 2026
