Emergency Department Nurse – 16-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 16-week contract assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Call: No call requirements
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Contract Details
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Holiday Commitment: 2 out of 3 holidays
- Start Date: October 11, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license (verified through Nursys)
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Willingness to complete facility-specific competency assessments and EKG training
- Required vaccinations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test and health statement
- Background check and EPLS clearance
- Valid Driver's License/State ID

You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team in a high-volume emergency department. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and the ability to prioritize competing demands are essential.
