Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its behavioral health unit. You'll provide direct patient care, implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate care across disciplines in a high-volume setting.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Coordinate discharge planning with interdisciplinary team members
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately
- Serve as a primary care coordinator across all disciplines
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license (verification required)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Professional references and clean criminal background check
Required Credentials & Screenings
- Drug screening
- PPD or IGRA (TB testing)
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- EKG competency
- Core competencies assessment
- Driver's license or state ID
