Cardiac Telemetry Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Location: Tulsa, OK

About the Role

You'll provide direct nursing care on a cardiac telemetry unit, implementing and monitoring individualized patient care plans. Your responsibilities include recording and communicating patient conditions, coordinating care across disciplines, executing physician and nursing orders, and managing discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

This role requires strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

The Unit

Schedule & Expectations

• Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• Holiday availability as needed
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Required Credentials

• Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
• ACLS certification
• Willingness to complete onboarding competencies including pharmacology, specialty, EKG, and unit-specific exams

Physical Requirements

Standard Precautions and PPE compliance required. Fit testing and immunizations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Influenza, Hepatitis B, TB screening, and drug screening) are part of onboarding.
