Cardiac Telemetry Nurse – 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week contract in a busy cardiac care unit. You'll provide direct nursing care to patients across the spectrum of cardiac needs, including post-operative cardiac surgery patients.
Unit Description
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions, document findings, and communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Coordinate discharge planning with team members
- Execute physician and nursing orders with precision
- Serve as primary care coordinator across disciplines
- Float to cardiac telemetry and med-surg units as staffing needs require
- Work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and independent judgment
Requirements
- Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
- Cardiac telemetry experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts (up to 6 per 6-week period) and holidays as needed

- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
