Cardiac Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Tulsa, OK

13-Week Contract | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week

This night-shift opportunity places you in an active cardiac telemetry unit caring for a broad range of cardiac patients, including post-operative cases. The unit serves patients of all ages and is staffed by collaborative nursing teams supported by patient care technicians and a unit coordinator.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours/week guaranteed
• Up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period; holiday coverage required based on department need

Clinical Scope

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and discharge planning
• Carry out physician and nursing orders with critical thinking and independent judgment
• Float to cardiac telemetry and med-surg departments as needed
• Virtual sitter monitoring and dedicated telemetry monitor technicians provide additional unit support

Requirements

• Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• Cardiac telemetry experience
• Strong EKG interpretation skills
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients with minimal supervision
• Completion of specialty and pharmacology competency exams upon onboarding
• Current immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB screening)
• Two professional references required at submission
• Skills checklist required at submission
