ICU Nurse – Night Shift

Location: Fort Collins, CO

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: October 12, 2026

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced ICU RN to join a mixed-acuity critical care unit. You'll provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including post-cardiac-surgery cases and medical/surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and support. Patient acuity ranges from ICU to progressive care level, with patient loads up to 6 medical/surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients; respond to changes in condition and escalate care as needed
• Manage advanced life support equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitors
• Administer titratable vasoactive and sedation drips per physician orders
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
• Perform rapid response and code interventions
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 1+ years of ICU/critical care experience
• Proficiency with critical care equipment and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to read and monitor telemetry

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• CCRN certification

Additional Information

You may be asked to float to other ICU/progressive care units as needed. This role requires flexibility and strong critical care skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
