ICU / IMCU — Critical Care RN | 13-Week Contract | Night Shift

Cambridge, MA

This critical care position supports a high-acuity unit specializing in post-cardiothoracic surgery patients. Nurses will float between the ICU and IMCU as needed, managing complex patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and mechanical circulatory support.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
• Every other weekend rotation
• 2 holidays required if working through the winter holiday season

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Anticipated start: October 19, 2026
• Weekly orientation provided
• Any color scrubs accepted

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar critical care setting
• CT surgery nursing experience required
• Proficiency with mechanical circulatory support devices, including IABP and Impella
• Comfort with ICU and IMCU patient populations

Required Certifications & Credentials

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Active RN license
