RN – Medical-Surgical Nursing
Location: Greeley, CO
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: October 12, 2026
About the Role
The facility is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented RN to join the medical-surgical nursing team. You'll provide comprehensive care to adult patients with a diverse range of medical and surgical diagnoses, including medical, oncology, and telemetry patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Manage pre- and post-operative care, including wound care and pain management
- Coordinate care for patients with chronic and acute conditions (diabetes, cardiac, respiratory)
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams on care planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure infection control and fall prevention protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- BLS certification required; NIHSS certification required
- Proficiency reading telemetry strips
- 1+ years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
- CMSRN preferred
Schedule & Expectations
- Every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation
- Based at the main facility with expected float availability to support other campuses as needed
