Emergency Department – Night Shift Nurse
Position Overview
Join the emergency department for a night shift role supporting high-acuity patient care. This is a 13-week contract assignment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Location: Asheville, NC
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and respond to acute changes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver timely care
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
- Support team operations during high-volume periods
What We're Looking For
- Valid RN license (North Carolina)
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- Emergency nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
