Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Schedule: Rotating weekends
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
- Location: Webster, TX
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
About the Unit
You'll join a specialized oncology and cellular therapy unit focused on chemotherapy administration, hematology care, and bone marrow transplant support. The team manages acute and post-transplant patients with telemetry monitoring and cardiac assessment capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy agents
- Provide pre- and post-transplant nursing care
- Perform blood product administration
- Monitor cardiac status and manage patient complications
- Collaborate with oncology physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Float to medical-surgical units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact
- BLS certification
- ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification
- Minimum 1–2 years chemotherapy/biotherapy administration experience
- Bone marrow transplant or hematology nursing experience
- ACLS preferred
