IMCU/Step-Down Nurse – Day Shift

Position Details

The facility is seeking an experienced IMCU/Step-down nurse for day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). This is a 36-hour per week contract position with guaranteed hours, running for 13 weeks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in a trauma-level facility
• Documented IMCU, Step-down, or PCU experience (must appear in work history)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

About the Role

You'll provide care for intermediate and step-down patients in a structured, supportive environment. The unit serves patients transitioning from higher acuity levels or recovering from acute episodes, requiring strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.

Day shifts offer schedule consistency while allowing flexibility outside work hours. With guaranteed 36-hour weekly commitments, you'll have predictable income and scheduling stability throughout the contract period.
