Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its Intermediate Care Unit. You'll provide skilled nursing care to acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring and intervention in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour days
- 4 days per week
- 48 guaranteed hours weekly
- 13-week contract, ASAP start
Patient Population & Clinical Scope
You'll care for patients with complex medical conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy. Clinical responsibilities include managing heparin drips and monitoring high-acuity patients requiring frequent assessment and intervention.

Requirements
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a similar acute care setting
- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
