Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for an 8-week contract assignment beginning January 4th. This is a float pool position requiring flexibility across multiple units within the medical-surgical service line.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour rotating day/night shifts (3 shifts per week)
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- Weekly orientations
- Maximum three days request time off permitted; no holiday time off approved
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
Requirements
- Current RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2+ years of medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
- Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (required)
- Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Clinical Role
You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment, managing patients on continuous cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities include vital sign assessment, medication administration, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Your strong telemetry background will be essential as you work across multiple units based on facility needs.
