Medical ICU Float Nurse

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Medical ICU float nurse for an 8-week contract beginning February 1st. You'll provide care across the Medical ICU, supporting high-acuity patients in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night)
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
• Weekly orientation on Mondays (excluding holidays)
• Maximum three days RTO allowed; no holiday RTO approved
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts nursing license
• BLS and ACLS-AHA certifications
• 2+ years of related ICU or critical care experience
• Medical license and relevant coversheet required at submission

Clinical Environment

You'll care for patients with complex, acute conditions requiring intensive monitoring and skilled interventions. This float role draws on your ability to quickly assess situations, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and adapt to varying patient needs across the unit.
