Medical ICU Float Position

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced nurse for an 8-week contract in the Medical ICU. You'll work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (days and nights), managing high-acuity patients in a dynamic critical care environment.

Requirements

• Massachusetts nursing license
• 2+ years of related clinical experience with Level 1 trauma exposure
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• CPR/AHA current

Schedule & Logistics

• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
• Start date: February 1, 2027
• Weekly orientation (Mondays, excluding holidays)
• No float requirement
• Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; no more than three days approved, and no holiday time off permitted

Clinical Environment

You'll provide direct patient care in the Medical ICU, working with acutely ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
