Medical ICU Float Position

Role Overview

Join the Medical ICU as a float nurse managing high-acuity patients in a rotating shift environment. You'll provide direct patient care across the unit, supporting diverse patient populations and clinical complexities.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
• 48 hours per week
• 8-week contract
• Start date: February 1st
• Weekly orientation (Mondays)
• No float requirement beyond the unit
• Minimal time-off requests approved; no holiday time off

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN license
• 2+ years of related ICU or acute care experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications (AHA)

What to Know

• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call)
• Parking available (costs vary; inquire for details)
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
• No separation period required between assignments
