Ultrasound Technologist – OB/GYN | Newburyport, MA

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: November 17, 2026

Shift: 8- or 12-hour rotating days | Guaranteed Hours: 72 biweekly (on-call hours not included)

This outpatient/inpatient ultrasound position focuses on OB/GYN, breast, and abdominal imaging. The role involves rotating shifts with no self-scheduling, and candidates must be available for call, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Hours of Operation:

• Monday–Friday: 0700–2300
• Weekends: 0600–1800
• Weekday call: 2300–0600
• Weekend call: 1800–0600

Clinical Scope:

• Performing OB/GYN, breast, and abdominal ultrasound studies
• Supporting a moderate-to-high volume imaging environment
• Potential to float to off-site locations within the regional area

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of ultrasound experience required
• ARDMS certification (OB/GYN, Breast, and Abdomen)
• BLS certification
• Flu vaccination required prior to start
• Strong familiarity with electronic health record documentation

Additional Notes:

• Call, weekend, and holiday availability are mandatory
• Candidates must not have worked at this facility within the past 6 months (and must be in good standing)

This is a longer-term contract at 13 weeks with a consistent schedule for experienced sonographers ready to step into a well-structured imaging program.
