Ultrasound Technologist — OB/GYN | Newburyport, MA
This 13-week contract placement is for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in OB/GYN imaging. The position involves rotating 8- and 12-hour day shifts with no self-scheduling. Call, weekend, and holiday availability are all required.
Schedule & Coverage
- Weekday hours: 0700–2300
- Weekend hours: 0600–1800
- Weekday call: 2300–0600
- Weekend call: 1800–0600
- Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
Clinical Scope
You'll perform OB/GYN, breast, and abdominal ultrasound examinations in a clinical environment that may also require floating to off-site locations in the Amesbury and Haverhill areas.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of ultrasound experience
- ARDMS certification (OB/GYN, Breast, and Abdominal — all required prior to start)
- Massachusetts license required prior to start
- BLS certification
- Flu vaccination required prior to start
- Prior ultrasound charting experience required
Additional Notes
Candidates must not have worked at this facility within the past 6 months to be considered. Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory.
