Med Surg Tele

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN | Float Pool | Cambridge, MA

This 8-week contract position places an experienced Med-Surg Telemetry RN in a float pool role, rotating across multiple telemetry units within the facility.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights), 3 shifts per week
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
• Maximum of 3 RTO days accepted; no holiday RTO will be approved
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application

Contract Details

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Start Date: January 4
• Weekly orientations provided

Position Overview

You'll float between multiple medical-surgical telemetry units, caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation. Strong comfort with varied patient populations and unit environments is essential, as this role demands adaptability and clinical confidence across settings.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Strong telemetry background required
• Float pool experience or willingness to float across units
• ACLS and BLS certifications (current)
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation required
