Night Shift Float Nurse – Med-Surg Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced float nurse for its med-surg telemetry unit on the night shift. You'll work 12-hour nights (7 PM – 7 AM) across a 56-week contract with an 8-week initial assignment starting January 4th.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience with prior travel nursing background
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with the facility's electronic health record system
- Ability to float between units as needed
What to Expect
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- Night shift schedule with limited time-off flexibility (maximum three days RTO; no holiday time off approved)
- Float position requiring adaptability across multiple patient care areas
- Telemetry monitoring and med-surg patient populations
