Medical ICU Float Nurse – 8-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Medical ICU float nurse for an 8-week assignment beginning February 1st. You'll provide care across the Medical ICU, supporting high-acuity patients in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour rotating days and nights (3 shifts per week)
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- Weekly orientation (Mondays, barring holidays)
- Maximum 3 days RTO allowed; no holiday RTO
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
Requirements
- Massachusetts nursing license
- 2+ years of related nursing experience, with Level 1 trauma experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- CPR-AHA certification
What to Know
- No float requirement beyond the Medical ICU assignment
- Parking costs up to $43/day (details available upon request)
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
