Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 28-week contract assignment. This is a float pool position requiring strong adaptability across multiple units.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
- 48 hours per week
- 72 hours biweekly guaranteed (excludes on-call time)
- Weekly orientations
Requirements
- 2+ years of medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
- Strong telemetry monitoring and patient assessment skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to float across multiple units
Key Details
- Start Date: February 1
- No separation period required between assignments
- RTO requests will not be approved during contract period
Clinical Scope
You'll provide care to medical-surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry supervision across various hospital units. Your role emphasizes clinical assessment, rhythm interpretation, and patient safety in a dynamic float environment.
