Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN — Travel Contract

Milton, MA | 12-Hour Days | 8-Week Contract

This Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit is seeking an experienced RN for a winter staffing need. The unit manages acute med/surg patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring, with all RNs expected to independently read and interpret rhythm strips — there are no telemetry technicians on this unit.

Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour days
• Every other weekend required
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
• Float required

Contract Details

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Start date: January 5th only; no more than 3 days of requested time off accepted

Pre-Acceptance Testing — Required

Candidates must complete two tests via Zoom prior to acceptance, within 48 hours of confirmation:

• Dysrhythmia test (20 questions)
• Medication test (20 questions)
• Passing score: 85% | One attempt only — no re-sits or remediation

A study guide will be provided to help candidates prepare.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• 2+ years of recent acute Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Current Massachusetts RN licensure
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation skills
