Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced NICU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll join a team caring for critically ill and premature infants requiring advanced respiratory support and neurological monitoring.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 8 PM – 8 AM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Start date: Every Monday
• 13-week contract duration

Clinical Scope

This role focuses on high-acuity neonatal care with emphasis on:

• High-frequency ventilation and oscillator management
• Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring and care
• Critical assessment and intervention for medically complex infants
• Routine NICU nursing protocols and family support

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact state license required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 18 months of NICU or specialty experience within the past 3 years
• Demonstrated competency with high-frequency ventilators and ICP monitoring equipment

Geographic & Travel Requirements

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Non-local travel assignment only
