Radiologic Technologist – Night Shift
San Antonio, TX | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-week contract
About the Role
The facility's radiology department is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the night shift. You'll perform a high volume of imaging studies including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and operating room exams. The department manages approximately 100 patient studies in a 24-hour period, with trauma cases included in the typical case mix.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging
- Support OR imaging procedures
- Work independently during night shift hours
- Potential to float to X-ray/CT departments if experienced
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospital experience (1+ year)
Position Details
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Dress Code: Olive scrub shirt and black pants
- Team Structure: Night shift operates with 1 tech; day shift has 8 techs; weekends have 4 techs
- Weekend/On-Call: Standard weekend rotation expected
