Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN to join its cardiovascular ICU. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse, delivering care in accordance with Maine nursing regulations and facility standards.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: October 26, 2026

Clinical Scope

You'll care for high-acuity cardiovascular patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond quickly to patient changes are essential.

Requirements

• Current Maine RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• MOAB or CPI certifications preferred

Important Notes

• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility should be aware that a reduced rate applies
