CVOR Surgical Technologist – Atlanta, GA
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract to support a dynamic cardiac surgery program.
Requirements
- Current Surgical Technologist license
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Willingness to float to General OR as needed
Schedule
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
- Average 70+ hours per four-week period (may vary)
- Weekday shifts: 5am–11am or 11pm–7am
- Weekend/holiday shifts: 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am
- One Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per week (not necessarily consecutive)
- Holiday rotation required, including weekends surrounding holidays
Clinical Scope
You'll support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a focused surgical environment, maintaining sterile technique, managing instruments and supplies, and collaborating with the cardiac surgery team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
