Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract

Lone Tree, CO | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Contract

Join a busy Emergency Department known for strong night-shift leadership, staff consistency, and an innovative approach to pain management. This team has reduced opioid usage by 34% through alternative-to-opioids (ALTO) therapies — a program embraced by the surrounding community.

The Unit

This high-volume ED carries a 30% admit rate, approximately 20% ESI-2 acuity, and a 28% EMS arrival rate. The department manages a broad range of emergencies including trauma, chest pain, stroke response, psychiatric/at-risk patients, and procedural sedation (Propofol, Etomidate, Ketamine). Leadership is actively present on the floor — providing direct care, hands-on education, and patient rounding.

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract | Start: October 12, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current, hospital-based ED experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC, and ENPC (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)
• CPI Blue Card required

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN certification
• Prior experience in a high-volume emergency setting
