Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Salem, VA

This 13-week travel contract places you on a busy Med-Surg unit focused on post-operative care. Nights run 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit Overview

The unit manages a general medical-surgical population with a strong post-operative focus. Clinical work centers on:

• Care of post-operative patients
• Wound care and dressing changes
• Drain maintenance and management

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Skills

• Experience caring for post-operative patients
• Proficiency with wound care, dressing changes, and drain management

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract with an anticipated start date of August 31, 2026
