CT Technologist – 12-Hour Day Shift
About the Role
The facility seeks an experienced CT Technologist to join the imaging department. You'll operate CT and radiographic equipment in a trauma and stroke-focused setting, working 12-hour day shifts Thursday through Saturday (8 AM–8 PM). Opportunities to pick up additional 4-hour shifts on mutually agreed days are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment, adjusting technical factors based on patient body habitus
- Position patients correctly and review physician orders to produce high-quality, low-radiation images
- Assist physicians during procedures: room setup, supply management, contrast administration, and emergency response
- Schedule exams, enter charge codes, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Minimize unnecessary radiation exposure for patients and staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in trauma and stroke imaging
- Associate's Degree (or equivalent) in Radiologic Technology from an approved program
- ARRT RT(R)CT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Valid state/district radiologic technologist license
Schedule & Contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Possible on-call availability (only if second or third shift coverage is needed due to PTO/illness; typically not required)
- Must be able to commute to the facility
