Med Surg

Medical-Surgical / Respiratory RN — Night Shift | Zanesville, OH

This 13-week night shift contract is based primarily on a Respiratory unit that manages patients with respiratory illness, including COVID-positive admissions. Nurses may also float to other Med-Surg units, which serve a variety of patient populations including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.

Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement

Start Date

• October 19th (fixed start date; no exceptions for new travelers)

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry (competency tested on day one)
• Proficiency in a major EMR system is required; this must be documented at submission — no refresher courses or on-site training will be provided

Additional Notes

• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours over the course of the 13-week contract
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO added after confirmation cannot be guaranteed
