Emergency Department RN — Travel Position
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), totaling 36 hours/week in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Travel experience preferred
- Trauma experience required
- Active GA or compact state nursing license
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
The Role
You'll be part of a busy ED team managing diverse patient presentations and acuities. This role demands strong assessment skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume setting. Experience with trauma cases is essential to success here.
