NICU RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week contract on the night shift. You'll provide direct care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU setting, working within a skilled, collaborative team.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: Syracuse, NY
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2+ years of NICU RN experience
- Level IV NICU experience required
- EMR proficiency
What You'll Do
Deliver bedside care to high-acuity neonates, including premature infants, critically ill newborns, and post-surgical patients. You'll manage complex monitoring, administer medications and fluids, support family-centered care, and collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team.
