NICU Registered Nurse – Nights
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a Level IV NICU, working with critically ill and premature infants requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
Shift Details
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, direct bedside care to critically ill neonates
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond to acute changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, specialists) on complex cases
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
- Support family-centered care and parent education
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience
- Level IV NICU experience required
- Electronic health record proficiency
