Registered Nurse – ICU

Location: Warner Robins, GA

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 4 × 12-hour shifts per week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift contract. You'll provide direct care to critically ill patients, manage complex airway and hemodynamic support, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience
• Current ventilator management experience
• Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line placement
• GA or compact state nursing license (active, in hand)
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS training required
• Minimum 1 year 6 months total nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Manage mechanical ventilation, vasoactive drips, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Perform and maintain central and peripheral IV access
• Document patient care in the electronic health record
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams regarding patient status and plan of care

Schedule & Flexibility

• Night shift rotation (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Department-based float assignments to other units as operational needs arise
• Must be willing to work within 50 miles of the facility
• Guaranteed hours per contract terms
