MRI Technologist | Houston, TX | Acute Care Setting
This is a long-term contract opportunity (91 weeks) for an experienced MRI Technologist in an acute care setting in Houston, TX, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Shift Schedule
- Friday: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Monday: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Holiday coverage required
On-Call Requirements
- Week-long call rotation runs Monday through Monday
- Weeknight call (Mon–Fri): 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend call (Sat–Sun): 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM the following day
- On-call techs are required to cover weekend shift call-ins during scheduled 7a–7p hours
- Call rotation is currently approximately once per month; subject to change based on staffing
- Call-back frequency is low, averaging 2–4 times per month
Clinical Requirements
- Experience with 1.5T and 3T MRI systems required
- ARMRIT certification accepted; Texas-specific MRI license not required
- BLS certification required

- Cancellation policy: 4 shifts for 13-week+ assignments; 3 shifts for shorter assignments
