Sonographer – Vascular & Breast Imaging
Location: Blacksburg, VA
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Role
The facility's imaging center is seeking a sonographer to perform vascular and breast ultrasound studies in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. You'll be part of a small, engaged team dedicated to high-quality diagnostic imaging and positive teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Perform general OB, vascular, and breast ultrasound examinations
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging protocols
- Provide compassionate patient care in a supportive clinical setting
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS RVT/RVS certification
- Demonstrated expertise in vascular and breast ultrasound studies
- Professional demeanor and strong team orientation
Schedule & Expectations
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Rotating on-call and weekend coverage required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Work Environment
- Black scrubs required
- May float to other imaging areas as needed
- 1 position available
