Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. This is a 13-week contract position working 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

• Primary Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• On-Call: Weekday evenings (9:30 PM – 8:00 AM) and rotating weekend calls (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• No floating required

Unit Overview

Clinical Scope & Requirements

• Must Have:
• PACU or ICU experience
• Strong neuro background
• Ventilator competency

• Preferred:
• Drip titration experience
• Neurosurgery knowledge

• Typical Procedures: PCA pump setup, drip titration, arterial line blood draws

• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS
